寛容と臆病と愛

寛容であっても臆病であってはいけません
なぜなら
寛容は愛であるが、臆病を神は嫌うのだから

そして
神は愛なのだから

『愛は寛容であり、愛は親切です、また人をねたみません。愛は自慢せず、高慢になりません』1 コリント13:4

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant

1 Corinthians 13:4

『神が私たちに与えてくださったものは、おくびょうの霊ではなく、力と愛と慎みとの霊である』2 テモテ 1:7

for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

2 Timothy 1:7

『私たちは、私たちに対する神の愛を知り、また信じています。神は愛です。愛のうちにいる者は神のうちにおり、神もその人のうちにおられます』1ヨハネ 4:16

So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
