『ある人々がおそいと思っているように、主は約束の実行をおそくしておられるのではない。ただ、ひとりも滅びることがなく、すべての者が悔改めに至ることを望み、あなたがたに対してながく忍耐しておられるのである』

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
