『また、祈る場合、異邦人のように、くどくどと祈るな。彼らは言葉かずが多ければ、聞きいれられるものと思っている。 だから、彼らのまねをするな。あなたがたの父なる神は、求めない先から、あなたがたに必要なものはご存じなのである』

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the healthen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
