『ほむべきかな、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの父なる神、あわれみ深き父、慰めに満ちたる神。 神は、いかなる患難の中にいる時でもわたしたちを慰めて下さり、また、わたしたち自身も、神に慰めていただくその慰めをもって、あらゆる患難の中にある人々を慰めることができるようにして下さるのである』

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
