Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits
主はあなたのすべての不義をゆるし、あなたのすべての病をいやし、
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
あなたのいのちを墓からあがないいだし、いつくしみと、あわれみとをあなたにこうむらせ、
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
あなたの生きながらえるかぎり、良き物をもってあなたを飽き足らせられる。こうしてあなたは若返って、わしのように新たになる。
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
主はすべてしえたげられる者のために正義と公正とを行われる。
The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
主はおのれの道をモーセに知らせ、おのれのしわざをイスラエルの人々に知らせられた。
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
主はあわれみに富み、めぐみふかく、怒ること遅く、いつくしみ豊かでいらせられる。
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
主は常に責めることをせず、また、とこしえに怒りをいだかれない。
He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
主はわれらの罪にしたがってわれらをあしらわず、われらの不義にしたがって報いられない。
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
天が地よりも高いように、主がおのれを恐れる者に賜わるいつくしみは大きい、
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
東が西から遠いように、主はわれらのとがをわれらから遠ざけられる。
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
父がその子供をあわれむように、主はおのれを恐れる者をあわれまれる。
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
主はわれらの造られたさまを知り、われらのちりであることを覚えていられるからである。
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
人は、そのよわいは草のごとく、その栄えは野の花にひとしい。
As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
