『主を待ち望め、強く、かつ雄々しくあれ。主を待ち望め』

Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord!

自由とは？
あなたの自由があって、初めて私の自由が存在すること

平等とは？
決して平等でないそれぞれの違った個性や才能を公平、平等に活かせる、伸ばせる、許せること

正義とは？
善意と良心、そして慈愛に満ちた勇気

差別とは？
同じ立場の者同士を不条理（暴力）によって蔑み、貶めることです。

愛とは？
寛容であり、親切です。また人をねたみません。自慢せず、高慢になりません。礼儀に反することをせず、自分の利益を求めず、怒らず、人のした悪を思わず、不正を喜ばずに真理を喜びます。すべてを我慢し、すべてを信じす、べてを期待し、すべてを堪え忍びます。決して絶えることがないのが『愛』です。（1コリント人 13 4-8引用）

と私は考えます。

私は愚か者です。

故に聖書を読みます。

なぜなら賢い人になりたいからです。

賢い人とは

弱った人に手を差し伸べ

弱い者の世話をし

弱った者には力を与え

小心な者を励まし

傷ついた人を癒し

奪われた人に与え

怠惰な者を諭し

勢いのない者には強さを増し加えられ

すべての人に対して寛容な人です。

そして永遠に主を恐れる人です。

私は新約聖書のみではなく、旧約聖書も必ず読みます。なぜなら、聖書は１つだからです。

『あなたの隣人をあなた自身のように愛しなさい』 【レビ記 19-18】

『あなたの隣人をあなた自身のように愛しなさい』【ローマ人13-9】

私はこの書物を恣意的に付け加えたり、利己的に省いたりしないためにも旧約聖書も新約聖書も読まなくてはいけないのです。

そしてそれは私の使命であると同時に、私の罪の贖いなのです。
