私の運命

よく聞く言葉で「定年退職してから始めよう」などと言うキャッチフレーズがある。まぁ、終身雇用が崩壊した今、定年退職すら崩壊しているが、一つだけ確実に言えることは「若い時に多くを経験しろ！」と言うことだ。

私ももう58歳だが、これも確実に言えることだが「年を取るごとに『やれること』『できること』は少なくなってゆく」と言うこと。これは何かを習得するだけではなく、経験や体験も同じである。

例えば海外旅行

年を取るとまずトイレが近くなる、そして、日本人の場合、海辺での泳ぎもできない。それは観光すらできないことを意味する。

習得でいえば、楽器は勿論、英会話やスポーツも年を取るごとに始めるのは困難になる。そしてアルコールの量も必然と少なくなる。理由は老化、これだけで多くの制限がかかることを若い人たちは理解すべきだ！

故に

「若い時に多くを経験しろ！」

と言うのを若者たちに知ってもらいたい。

『目を覚ましていなさい。固く信仰に立ちなさい。男らしく、強くありなさい。いっさいのことを愛をもって行いなさい。』
